Public Skating
Looking for something fun & exciting to do? Do you want to try something new? Need to work on developing your skating skills? Then our public skating session is for you!
Public Skate sessions are offered at a variety of days and times.
Hockey
Adult Pay & Play
Pay & play hockey is available throughout the week during afternoon
& evening hours. This offers adults (18 & older) an opportunity to
play recreational hockey. All levels are invited.
Youth Pay & Play
Pay & play opportunities for different age levels are
available throughout the week. This offers younger players to play
with others (Mites thru Bantam).
Adult Hockey 101, 102 & 103 Clinics
Adult Hockey clinics will be put on throughout the year for
aspiring adult hockey players. Please check back periodically to see
if one is listed.
Adult Leagues
Spring/Summer adult leagues are now forming!!! Join our very own
Des Moines Adult Hockey Club. The DMAHC
consists of A, B, C & D level leagues. The
leagues
will be starting in mid April. Click on the link at the top of the
page for a registration form.
Learn to Play Hockey
The very popular "Learn to Play" program introduces
youngsters to the sport of hockey. Working on skating, hockey
stance, balance & other basic skills are involved in this program
and can be used as a preparation for Des Moines Youth Hockey's
Initiation program. Please check back for future session dates &
times.
Figure
Skating - Learn to Skate
The US Figure Skating Basic Skills Program consists of a
comprehensive lesson/evaluation skating environment that is
exciting, rewarding, safe & fun. Class fee includes skate rental, 30
minute group class, 30 minute practice ice and a 1 year US Figure
Skating Basic Skills Membership.
Broomball
Organize a group to play broomball. Due to the amount of
interest, Pay & Play broomball sessions are BACK!

Birthday Parties
Tired of the boring & routine birthday party? Have your "Birthday on
Ice" at The Ice Facility! Birthday package includes invitations, ice

We offer rentals on one or both sheets of ice along with lounge &
conference rooms. Works great for small board meetings, parties,
